Vineyard location: about 45 km/ 30miles north of Bordeaux, facing the Medoc area
Geographic location: 6500 hectares in 41 communes.

Annual production: red 250 000 hectolitres, white 15 000 hectolitres

Terroir : Clay-limestone, clay-gravel and clay-silica soils. Sub-soil composed of ferruginous hardpan. Temperate climate. Relatively high humidity reinforced by the maritime influence. Strong sunshine: 240 days per year.
Grape varieties : Red (90% of production): 70 % merlot, 20 % cabernet-sauvignon, 10% malbec.
White: 90% Sauvignon, 10% Muscadelle and Sémillon.
